April Embellishment Challenge

Wow, where has the month gone?  It's Deborah here with you again - I've had such fun this week looking at all the wonderful cards made featuring Santa Claus - you've made it really tough to pick the winners.

As it's the last week of the month we have a technique/embellishment challenge for you.  We would like you to use punches to make your card/project.

And here are our punched creations:

It's been my pleasure and privilege to host the challenge for April - thanks for your continued support.  And I really am looking forward to seeing your punched delights!

(Almost) Anything Goes March Honors

Well, we did catch a few people out this time, firstly as our challenge for Anything Goes means anything BUT a card, tag or ATC, and secondly, the technology gremlin invaded and cut off Mr Linky a day too early! Apologies if either of the above affected you.
Enough said about that, we had some jaw-dropping entries and quite an array of wonderful Christmas time projects. I love these challenges as you can really get creative and many of you did just that. Our winner  of the top spot this week is....
Top Honor
with her amazing, very original, Christmas nativity mobile, featuring that gorgeous 3D star

Honorable Mentions
in no particular order
Margaret's wonderful tiny 'pizza' gift box

Well done Ladies, don't forget to grab your winners' badge.
This week's sketch is in full swing, with a fabulous design from Deborah, check it out and get your entry in now.  We love visiting all your blogs and leaving comments. It has been great fun, hosting the challenges for the month of March and this really is me, Louise, signing off now, Happy Crafting!

April Sketch Challenge

Hello, good morning!!  It's Deborah here - I'm very pleased to be hosting this month's challenges.  Can't believe it's already April!!  Has spring finally arrived with you?  The last few days here in Michigan have been lovely, with sunshine and temperatures getting into the 50s!  The birds know that spring is here - they've been singing so loudly!  So it's been a bit harder to make a Christmas card this week, but so worth while as I intend to have most of my cards made by December.

Thanks to Louise for hosting our challenges last month - there were so many gorgeous submissions, I hope you enjoyed them as much as I did..

As it's the first week of the month we have a sketch to share with you - can't wait to see what you make with this one.

Here's some inspiration from the team:

Ribbons and Bows Honorable Mentions

Hello, Louise here for almost the last time. I do hope that you all had a very Happy Easter time. When there's a special weekend and everyone is on holiday you can easily forget which day it is!
Luckily, I just remembered in time to post the winners from last week's Ribbons and Bows challenge. We loved the way you creatively used ribbons and bows in your cards, in many different styles, and the one that the DT have chosen as their top honor this week is

Top Honour

We loved the way that Rocky weaved her ribbons to make such a beautiful focal point for her card.

Honorable Mentions
in numerical order

Well done Ladies, don't forget to take your winners' badge and display it proudly on your blog!
A quick reminder that our Anything Goes challenge is in full swing (anything BUT a card, tag or ATC), and we'd love to see any Christmas creations you have made.  On Saturday a whole new month of challenges will start again and this time your hostess will be Deborah. I know she's got some fantastic challenges to get you thinking and crafting so we are all looking forward to that.  I will be back next Wednesday to post the winners from Anything Goes, 'till then Happy Crafting!
